Not Levelling So Fast

I’ve been invited by my lovely friend Lady Verne to share my thought about this topic lol nonetheless to be honest let me be very clear about my writing. First of all that I do not in any way profess to be any kind of expert. This document is simply an attempt to share what I have learned and an effort to help others. The following are the best suggestions and information that I can share and should answer most of the common questions.

Secondly, I have tried to compile everything so that it might be of help to others. It is not nearly as well organized or as encompassing as I would like but doing so takes a lot of time that I simply dont have so bear with the less than ideal format and areas that are not covered.

Last but not least please bear in mind its all depends on what you want to achieve in the game but this is what has worked well for me and that I have found has also worked for others. Feel free to share the information with other players if you wish.

Regarding about this topic as to why not to levelling up so fast in my opinion by leveling slowly it allows you to build your income up. If you run a high up keep or level faster then your income you will have problems. INCOME is the KEY to the game.

Thus, the best way not to level up so fast is by doing lots of SPLATTING. In addition, it would be the best if INCOME MODE was done side along with your splatting so that way you just not only delevelling you even build your own income..its like shooting two birds with one stone isnt it :o

Now in the aspect of splatting it was done when players often repeatedly attack high level bounties, killing themselves and losing exp to slow down leveling, this is done to allow them to buy more land at early levels to gain more income. It shall be noted again with more income comes better weapons and  companions which in result can make oneself stronger. If you level to fast you may find yourself significantly weaker than other players at your same level.

The best way is to splatt should be on riders, you can splatt 100's of times on them, unlike people on your battle list. Another way, is to sell your gears (INCOME MODE) and splatt on people on your battle page. Splatting is the only way to get negative xp or having someone kill you so that you can dig more xp holes and reduce your chances on levelling up so fast.

Next, in the aspect of income i will combine with income mode also whereby these are the 2 most important things for income which are consists of followings:-

(a) Buy bases in groups of 10. Bases go up in price each time you buy. So you can buy 10 at the current price it    much cheaper then buying 1 at a time

(b) Keep your upkeep low like 33% of your gross income

It shall be noted that you buying structures to earn income. Make this a priority over buying weapons and companions. Remember that your structures will stop earning income after 24 hours. The 24 hours clock starts when you last collected your money. For this reason be certain to collect your income before the 24 hours are up. The more structures that you buy, the more income you will earn.

Take your time and build as much income as possible. The higher you go, the more you will need it. The upkeep on weapons and companions in this game can get insane. Being able to afford to buy them is easy; affording to keep them is another. Keep in mind that as you level up the structures get more and more expensive and have a decreasing rate of return for the money spent. For these reasons if you have any doubt that your income is not high enough, it is a sure sign that you dont have nearly enough. For the most part, you can have pretty good control over two things in this game. The first is how fast you level up and the second is your income. If you start at very low levels building income like mad, it will pay off in aces latter on. If you find yourself in a box where you have already moved up too fast without enough income, stop leveling, go into a strict defense mode and wait until you have more income than you need to move forward. Most people refer to this as CAMPING which i'm myself a camper too :o

Not to forget when you opt not to level up so fast please do or try income mode. It can be explained that income mode means in short is that you sell off most or all or your weapons and companions except those that have zero upkeep. This allows you to use 100% of your income to buy more structures. If you dont care about your stats or have really let your income get way too low, this may be an option for you. It certainly does allow you to build income faster than camping but also leaves you a very easy mark. If people know that you are in income mode some may be kind and go easy on you; some however will simply smile and take great pleasure in attacking an easy target as much and as hard as they are able. The latter is especially true if they find that they can easily kill you. If you choose to go into income mode as man people in the game do, be ready to have a huge target painted on your back and for your stats to drop.

Try to keep your upkeep as low as possible so you can build your income. In the long run, income is what drives this game. Your goal should be to maintain an upkeep of no more than 33% of your gross income and if possible, lower. Sometimes that is not possible if you care about your stats, but normally it is. Especially at the lower levels, you can easily have a very low upkeep. Pay close attention to what other players are using for weapons and companions and what they are doing. It will help you not only protect yourself but fine tune your own strategy.

In a nutshell, you guys can opt to whether to level up so fast or take your time to build your character as in this game INCOME is the KEY through out this game. If you can survive in this tactic you can do well in this game. Good luck and happy gaming.
